Establishment

Chocolate Gems was established by Emanuel and Dianne Conomos in late 1994 in Brisbane, Australia, to develop and make chocolate products as a wholesale supplier, which would cater to niche market requirements.

The early development of the Company relied to a very large extent on family support over a number of years without which the business would not be where it is today.

All product development was done, and is still being done in house as we try to respond quickly to customer demands and emerging trends.

Philosophy

Most of our products are gift related and our product philosophy is to make people happy, with a touch of romance.

Chocolate Gems is widely known for its milk chocolate hearts covered in eleven different coloured foils; very popular in the wedding and celebration industry. The little gift cards with chocolate and the chocolate Chess Set are also products we are very well known for.

Finding US

Chocolate Gems exhibits annually at Gift Trade Fairs in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne (Reed Exhibitions), and at Fine Food Australia (Australian Exhibition Services).

We have Distributors in Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia; but a number of sales are done over the phone, via the fax, email and now, our website. Goods are shipped direct to the wholesale customer or to the Distributor for delivery.

We are a Wholesale Manufacturing and Distribution Company. Chocolate Gems also manufacturers product for the Bakery industry, does contract manufacturing and some export.
